Today sees the launch of the biggest ever Global Drug Survey, a truly international attempt to get to the true facts behind drug use across the world.
Mixmag is an official media partner alongside organisations such as The Guardian, The Huffington Post, Fairfax media in Australia/New Zealand, Zeit online in Germany, El Pais in Spain and Liberation in France, as well as partners in Brazil and Mexico, and the survey will be translated into Spanish, Portuguese, French, Flemish, German, Hungarian and Danish.
The survey covers everything from cannabis, MDMA and cocaine quality and usage to prescription medication and even electronic cigarettes.
“Better information, untainted by government agendas, will allow individuals and communities to be accurately informed around the decisions they make,” says GDS’s Dr Adam Winstock, and previous drug surveys have influenced drug policy and education around the world.
